Dan Murphy

Vice President & Chief Philanthopy Officer

Dan has over 24 years of fundraising experience serving in vice president positions at Heritage Valley Health System and Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as fundraising management positions at University of Maryland Medical System, Loyola College of Maryland and Miami University (OH). In addition to serving as Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer for Dignity Health’s Inland Empire market, Dan serves in the same role for Dignity Health’s Glendale Memorial Health Foundation.  He serves as the health care chair for Inland Action advocacy board and is a member of CommonSpirit Health Philanthropy’s planning committee for the annual Education Summit. Dan received his BA and MS degrees from Miami University in Oxford, OH and is a current participant in the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy Executive Residency Program. He resides in Claremont, CA with his wife and three daughters.
