Women of Dignity Health

The Women of Dignity Health is a unique and fun donor group for women that raises funds for the advancement of our two Inland Empire hospitals, whose collective mission is to deliver compassionate, high-quality, affordable health services; serve and advocate for our sisters and brothers who are poor and disenfranchised; and partner with others in the community to improve the quality of life.

Members of the Women of Dignity Health can direct their membership donation to their hospital foundation of choice. We have created restricted support funds for both of our area hospitals, Community Hospital of San Bernardino and St. Bernardine Medical Center. The Women of Dignity Health’s steering committee reviews capital and programmatic requests from our hospitals’ administration. Items recommended for funding are forwarded to the respective Foundation Boards for approval and presented at the spring and fall Women of Dignity Health luncheons.

Membership in the Women of Dignity Health entails an annual gift of $1,000 or more during the fiscal year of July 1-June 30. This tax-deductible gift can be made in installments and can be paid with cash, credit card or with appreciated securities. 100% of your gift will be used for priorities projects and needs at the designated hospital of your choice. Staff of either hospital can also donate via payroll deduction and/or accumulated PTO hours. Please see payment options detailed in this brochure. Women of Dignity Health members are invited to attend the group’s two premier events each year, the Spring Luncheon and the Fall “Woman of the Year Award” Luncheon. Non-members can also attend these events for a nominal fee. In addition, members are invited to various other events and activities promoted by the Dignity Health – Inland Empire Office of Philanthropy.
